Homeschooling?

If I were asked to choose between homeschool and traditional school, I would definitely chose homeschooling. I believe home schooling is a good idea because it allows the student to focus and develop the areas where he is strong. In addition it gives him more time to socialize with all kinds of people which gives the student a better picture of the real world.

It is no secret that students learn better the topics they enjoy with a proper motivation and time.  They can explore the subjects deeply and develop ambitious, goals and find out their true callings. The kid can become an expertise in science or literature even arts if he is persistent, avid to learn and stimulated. On the other hand, students can focus in the weakest subjects they have in order to improve them.

It is said that all humans need to live in society. However, we all know that the world is not full of extrovert people, who feel more stimulated by team work. We find another group that can not just adjust to this dynamic of work, which are the introverts. Most of the time, this type of personality comes with shyness that in a traditional school can lead to one of the most alarming problems nowadays: bullying. Homeschooling gives the child the freedom to socialize with the people he feels more comfortable instead of being forced to work in groups. Because he is around a variety of ages and maturity levels he learns to adjust to the group that he is interacting with at the moment. Which means meeting all kinds of people with different ages and social backgrounds would give the child a better perspective of the world he is in.

In conclusion, studying at home is an opportunity for the student to have more freedom to explore the subjects where he is interested and gives him extra time to socialize in other places other than school, making him more mature and conscious of the world.
